Christian Audigier
When you first hear the name Christian Audigier, you might think Chanel, Lacroix, Vuitton. Think again, and think Von Dutch & Ed Hardy. Creator in great part of these great brands, Christian Audigier’s designs are all about Rock-n-Roll, bling, bling, and Tatoos.
The Designer’s creativity goes far and beyond to create the most fashionable items. The mixture of tattoo like monograms, rhinestones and others materials produces street wear that can be worn to any occasion from a Red Carpet event, to shopping, to just hanging out. What’s best, even though Christian Audigier is a most wanted designer among celebrities, his prices are affordable by virtually anybody.
You can find Christian Audigier’s designs in several of his stores in Miami, New York, California and Paris. During our visit to its Soho location, we interviewed Elie Akiba, Audigier’s partner in crime, and he told us all about the store, the designer, and the brand.
I had such a great time interviewing Mr. Akiba, pictured above, and showing off a little bit of my French.
