One day while walking down 32nd street I saw a window display full of the most amazing sunglasses, all of which I wanted to own. “I have to go in” –I told myself. Next thing I knew I was walking out of the store with a pair of $350 Fendi sunglasses. The store to blame is Galleria.
When you first enter Galleria you are striked by the sunglass variety in styles, colors, prices and brand names. From $100 Ray-ban’s to $600 Bvlgari’s. On the second floor you will also find other high quality accessories for both men and women such as coats, bags, hats and belts. Although the store’s main audience has been tourist, in the coming months Galleria will be focusing in carrying brands such as Blue Girl and Just Cavalli to attract some of the younger and trendier crowd.
Galleria is a family owned store. The owners handpick some of the best and most exclusive items from each designer’s collection they carry. Don’t be surprised if you find Gucci sunglasses released only in Italy or a Nana Kina belt exclusive to Galleria in the US. Besides carrying unique items, Galleria’s exclusive relation with designers allows it to give great after service to its customers.
So next time you walk down 32nd street and you pass by Galleria watch out!! You will end up buying at least one great accessory.
